The National Police Defence Foundation, has started a fund to raise money to conduct a full investigation into the 1993 murder of Emogene Thompson. Former Gwinnett police officer, Mr. Mike Chapel, is now serving 2 life terms plus 5 years for the murder.

Eren Chapel, the wife of Micheal Chapel, has asked the NPDF to help her prove he is innocent.
